Managing Teams Devices
Microsoft Teams calls including calls between Microsoft Teams and the SBC and Microsoft Teams client calls between users of the customer tenant, can optionally be intercepted using the Microsoft Teams Subscriber Notifications Services. This functionality requires the setup of the connection between the Live Platform server and the Microsoft Teams Subscriber service on Microsoft Teams. The Microsoft Teams connection requires that the Live Platform server Public IP is accessible from the Global Internet and in the other direction, the Live Platform server should have access to the Global Internet. Permissions for call interception are managed through Microsoft Graph API, configured in a dedicated registration on the customer tenant. The Application (client) ID and Secret generated from this registration are later configured in the Onboarding wizard for Hosted Essentials + and Hosted Pro customers. This functionality can alternatively be configured in Day Two in the Customer portal in the Microsoft 365 Settings screen. Once configured, Teams calls can be monitored in the Live Platform portal as a separate entity. Once the procedure below are successfully completed, the Teams connection is automatically added to the tenant service. Once the Teams device is added, you can monitor aggregated Teams QoE data for Services, Customers and Devices entities (see Monitoring Voice Quality Statistics from Customer Service Sites.
